“It’s MY Party and I’ll Cry if I Want To”

We all know the song by Leslie Gore, “It’s My Party.” VIP wants to help you make your party as cry free as possible. Let VIP help you plan the perfect party with barely any bumps in the road. Planning a bachelorette party is stressful and the person who is planning it can become overwhelmed. We have seen everyone from the Maid Of honor to The Mother of the Bride taking on this chaotic yet exciting task. We have also seen some major meltdowns during the party. We are sure you have heard the stories; the bouncer has an attitude, the limo driver missed a turn, it took five minutes for the girl at the counter to find a name on a list. While this may seem silly to most, the person who planned the party may find these small gaffes to be a disaster!
Follow these tips and give the bride to be a night to remember!
Don’t sweat the small stuff! There are always going to be a few bumps in the night. Just remember there is a VIP party host provided for you! Let them worry and you have fun with the bride-to-be.
What the bride doesn’t know won’t hurt her. Make the night as worry free for the bride as possible and keep things under the table. It will all work out and VIP is here to make sure it does.
Stirring up drama usually does not help. There are usually conflicting personalities within parties. Remember that the night is not about anyone except your best friend who wants one last night to have fun. The time to start drama can wait for another day.
One last thought. Have fun! This will be a night to remember, might as well make it a positive one!

Boudoir, Boudoir!

One of the hardest gifts to give is wedding gifts, especially if the bride is your sister or best friend. You want to give them something they will always remember and will hold significance in their lives now and in the future. You also want the gift to be beneficial to the husband. Getting something from a list on some registry won’t cut it. These days’ girls are giving gifts that will last a lifetime, boudoir photography.
Boudoir photography is a fun, flirty gift that will always be valued. This gives the bride a chance to show her flirty sensual side. Boudoir photography is one of the newest and hottest gifts of the season! Jessica Chapman a well known Illinois photographer and newest addition to the VIP Bachelorette team says, “I did not hire professional models for these shoots.  These women, all naturally beautiful, are wives, mothers, neighbors and career holders.” Not only can the bride have fun being flirty, but there is also group boudoir where the bride a friends can “take the journey from self consciousness to self revelation together” states Chapman. It creates a unique bonding experience among girlfriends.
Boudoir is not only a gift to give to a bride, but a perfect gift for the groom himself. Most boudoir photographers include photo albums and prints in their pricking’s. Here are some questions with answers that are asked frequently:
What do I wear?
This usually depends on who you hire. Jessica Chapman gives you the option of bringing 3 lingerie choices to your shoot. Others might have different props for you to choose from. Remember when your choosing what to bring, bring something that makes you feel sexy. It is also good to bring different outfits that you can mismatch. Some of the best items to bring are accessories, especially your engagement ring!
Who takes the photos?
Professional photographers take the photos. Some photographers specialize in boudoir and others have boudoir as part of their business. Either way they are both professionals the difference is that a boudoir photographer might have more props that you can use.
Where do you take the photos?
Photos can be taken in studio or at your home depending on the package you choose and who is your photographer. Some photographers are flexible and will let you choose where you want to take them.
When should I schedule a session?
Many brides diet and do a work regime to get ready for the big day. Taking boudoir photos about a week or two before the wedding would be a great way to show off your hard work. It would also be a great way to start off your wedding festivities.
